A soft remembering
Hello dearest,
Self-love can feel like a loud concept in our modern world — full of affirmations, spa days, and bold declarations. And while those things can be beautiful, I’ve come to know self-love as something far quieter.
Softer. Earthier.
To me, self-love feels like sitting in silence with yourself, hand on heart, and whispering “I’m here. I see you.” It’s choosing to honour your rhythms, even when the world says hustle. It’s offering yourself kindness in the small moments — when you forget, when you fumble, when you’re tired and tender and unsure.
Self-love might look like:
🌿 Putting your bare feet on the earth when the day feels heavy
🌿 Making a warm, nourishing meal — just for you
🌿 Speaking gently to yourself when the inner critic creeps in
🌿 Letting yourself rest, deeply and without apology
🌿 Creating space to feel, to cry, to dream
There’s no need to become someone else. The journey is really a returning — to the wild, luminous essence you’ve always been.
Self-love doesn’t require perfection. It asks only for presence.
So today, can you be with yourself like you would a beloved friend? With tenderness, curiosity, and care?
Take a breath. Place a hand on your chest or your belly. Feel the life moving through you. That in itself is sacred.
You are worthy of your own devotion — not someday, but now.
With love
